Dr Michael Symes provides the highest quality care to patients with fractures and orthopaedic trauma injuries. He is one of a select few surgeons who works across two major Level 1 Trauma Centres in Sydney and treats general orthopaedic fractures and trauma, with a particular interest in complex foot and ankle injuries and lower limb reconstruction. He utilises the latest evidence based treatments to enhance recovery and accelerate rehabilitation.

DR SYMES’ TRAUMA HOSPITALS

 

Due to the often urgent nature of traumatic injuries, Dr Symes performs the majority of his trauma surgery at St George Public and Royal North Shore Hospitals. As Level 1 Trauma Centres these hospitals have the experience and specialised multidisciplinary teams required to optimise patients recovery and outcomes.

In cases where surgery isn’t required immediately, patients may elect to have their surgery performed at either St George Private or North Shore Private Hopsitals
